28. 2. 870 Rom/Byzanz Durch das VIII. Ökumenische Konzil in Konstantinopel endet das Photianische Schisma. Photios wird verbannt und der päpstliche Primat über den Patriarchen anerkannt. Konstantinopel behält aber die kirchenrechtliche Oberhoheit über die missionierten Bulgaren.
