Am ỵ lalkohole

fachsprachlich Pentylalkohole oder Pentanole, aliphatische Alkohole mit 5 Kohlenstoffatomen, die in 8 isomeren Formen bekannt sind. Wichtigste Amylalkohole sind: 1-Pentanol oder n-Amylalkohol CH 3 – (CH 2 ) 3 – CH 2 OH und Gärungsamylalkohol , der hauptsächlich aus der isomeren Form Isoannylalkohol (CH 3 ) 2 CH – CH 2 – CH 2 OH, besteht. Letzterer findet sich in den Fuselölen von Melasse und Kartoffeln. Amylalkohole sind wichtige Lösungsmittel.
