James Stuart, Earl of Murray, Regent von Schottland (1567 – 1570), * um 1531, † 21. 1. 1570 Linlithgow (ermordet); unehelicher Sohn des König Jakob V. von Schottland, Halbbruder Maria Stuarts ; schloss sich 1559 den protestantischen Lords der Congregation an, vorübergehend verbannt, wurde er 1568 – 1570 schottischer Regent nach Marias Sturz.
