Tryptophan essenzielle Aminosäure, die am Stoffwechsel der Vitamine B 1 , B 2 und B 6 beteiligt ist; Ausgangssubstanz für verschiedene Stoffwechselprodukte (z. B. Serotonin, Melatonin).
